1. About Us

Toddler Tales is a personalised children’s story subscription service operated by Toddler Tales, based in Eastbourne, United Kingdom. By subscribing to our service you agree to these terms.

2. The Service

Toddler Tales provides weekly personalised children’s stories delivered by email. Each subscription includes:

  • A fully illustrated reading edition (PDF)
  • A printable booklet edition (PDF)
  • A read-along audio narration (MP3)
  • An extended audio edition (MP3)

Stories are created using information you provide about your child and are personalised to their name, appearance, interests, and family. Stories are generated using artificial intelligence and reviewed for quality before delivery.

3. Subscriptions

3.1 Plans

We offer monthly and annual subscription plans. Current pricing is displayed on our website at toddlertales.co.uk. Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable.

3.2 Founder Pricing

Founder pricing is available to our first subscribers at a reduced rate. Founder pricing is locked in for as long as your subscription remains active. If you cancel and resubscribe, standard pricing will apply.

3.3 Free Trial

New subscribers receive a 14-day free trial. Your payment method will be charged at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before the trial ends. You will receive your first stories during the trial period.

3.4 Billing

Monthly subscriptions are billed every 30 days from the date your trial ends. Annual subscriptions are billed once per year. All payments are processed securely via Stripe.

3.5 Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You will not receive separate notice before each renewal.

4. Cancellation

4.1 How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account portal or by contacting us at hello@toddlertales.co.uk

4.2 Effect of Cancellation

If you cancel during your free trial you will not be charged. If you cancel after your trial, you will retain access to the service until the end of your current billing period. We do not offer partial refunds for unused portions of a billing period.

4.3 Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscribers who cancel within 14 days of their annual renewal date may request a refund for the renewed period. Refund requests after 14 days are at our discretion.

5. Your Child’s Information

5.1 What We Collect

To create personalised stories we collect information about your child including their name, age, appearance, interests, family members, and pets. This information is used solely for the purpose of creating personalised stories.

5.2 How We Use It

Your child’s profile information is stored securely and used to generate their weekly stories. We do not share this information with third parties except where necessary to provide the service.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Your Stories

Stories created for your child are for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may print, share within your family, and store your stories for personal enjoyment.

6.2 Restrictions

You may not reproduce, sell, distribute, or publish stories commercially. You may not use story content or illustrations for any purpose other than personal enjoyment without our written permission.

6.3 Our Content

All story templates, prompts, system designs, and brand assets remain the intellectual property of Toddler Tales.

7. AI-Generated Content

Stories are created using artificial intelligence technology. Whilst we strive for quality and accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors or inconsistencies. We review stories for quality before delivery, but we cannot guarantee that every story will be perfect. If you are unhappy with any story, please contact us and we will do our best to resolve it.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Toddler Tales shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding any claim.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

You must be 18 or over to create a Toddler Tales subscription.
